Q. What if I don’t like my previews or finished portraits?

A.If for any reason you are not happy with your previews,
please inform us within 48 hours of your viewing and
we will make more images to your liking or return your
session fee in full.
If for any reason you are not happy with your finished
portraits, please inform us within 48 hours and we will
have them remade to your liking or refund your purchase
price in full.

Q. What happens if I need to reschedule my session?

A. Kindly give us a 48 hour notice if you need to reschedule
your session so that we may find someone else to fill
your spot. Please keep in mind that we may not be able
to reschedule you at the same location.
No call/No show missed appointments will forfeit their
session fee and will be charged a new fee to schedule
another session.

Q.
How do I order images from my session?

A. An appointment at our studio for your viewing of images
is usually available within 5 – 10 days of your session.
Please have all persons at the viewing that are needed to
make a decision about purchasing portraits. If an order is
not placed at the viewing session, the prices quoted will
be available for the next 7 days, after that time the A La
Carte prices will be in effect.

Q. Is there anyway I can have proofs to view at home?

A. Although most clients find it easier to view the images with
our assistance at the studio a proof book is available upon request.
There is a $295.00 deposit required when you pick up your proofs.
There is a $25.00 production fee for the proof book. Your
remaining deposit of $270.00 can be applied toward your order.

Q. What happens if I cannot make my scheduled viewing appointment?

A. Kindly give us a 48 hour notice if you need to
reschedule your viewing session so that we may find someone else
to fill your spot.

Q. Do I need to give a deposit when I place my order?

A. When you place your order a 50% deposit is due at
that time to guarantee that your order will be put into
production. The balance will be due when you pick up
your finished portrait order. For your convenience, we
accept all major credit cards (Mastercard, American
Express, Visa & Discover) as well as personal checks.
There is a $25 fee for any returned check.

Q. Do you offer a payment plan?

A. If you prefer we can spread your payments out over an
agreed upon time frame with a monthly charge on your
credit card. Please keep in mind that work will not begin
on your order until the minimum 50% deposit is reached.

Q. When can I expect to receive my finished portraits from when I place my order?

A. Due to the custom nature of our work please allow five to
six weeks for delivery of your finished order from the date you place your
order and make your 50% deposit. We will notify you as soon as they are ready for pick up.

NOTE: orders not picked up within 60 days of notification will
be subject to a monthly storage fee of $25.00 per month. Orders not
picked up within six months of notification will be disposed of and
all monies paid forfeited.

Q. Do I own the rights to my images?

A. The studio retains all rights to images
unless otherwise agreed upon. All portraits created by Scott Sylvia
Photography, Ltd. are protected by Federal Copyright law. This law
prohibits the copying of any of our portraits by any means- including
scanning, photocopying or capture by digital cameras or
camera phone.

We work hard to maintain our reputation for quality and inferior copies
of our work make us both look bad. Thank you in advance for your cooperation.

Q. Is there anyway that I can have a digital copy for for use on social media?

A. Absolutely! With any print image that you purchase, you
will receive a digital copy with appropriate resolution for use on social
media such as Facebook. These images are not intending for printing,
and will be provided to you when your order is paid in full.
