Scott has studied with many well-known national and international portrait photographers. He strives to keep up with the newest in technological advances that digital imaging has to offer, as well as perfect his craft and passion of creating portraiture for his clients.

Scott has received countless awards for his sensitive and emotional portraits, including the prestigious Kodak Gallery Award. He has appeared twice on "Ocean State Family TV Magazine" television program as a guest to discuss the art of children photography.

Studio Profile

Since 1995, discerning clients from New England and well beyond have sought Scott out for his artistic and immediately recognizable style. A fine portrait does not happen by chance; it is a collaboration between the subject and the artist. With this in mind, we approach each family, child, or high school senior as unique, and design a session that will fulfill the dreams of that client. Since Scott photographs each session himself, you can rest assured that the work that you see on display is what you will receive.

When you enter the studio you will find a comfortable, homey atmosphere. This is most definitely not a high volume, mass production business. At Scott Sylvia Photography, we strive to provide you with the finest quality, along with courteous and professional service, from the first phone call to the delivery of your finished portraits. A free design consultation is available and enough free time is scheduled for each session so that you can relax and actually enjoy the portrait creation process.
